Sianscribbles.com is about what I have found most influential in my life.  The articles cover health, life and business.  I have personally experienced everything I write about, and often the conclusions reached in a short article are the culmination of several years of research and trying out different things until I find what works.  Sometimes I just write about stuff which makes me think or laugh.

I live with my Husband Mark and our foster son Eunan (such a good and sweet person you could ever hope to meet) in Rochester, Kent.

Elliot Farrel Hughes, our fiercesomly powerful son is an occasional and very very welcome drop in.

We are internet marketers who develop our own websites, and help others do the same.  Our favourite platform is the affordable and easy-peasy WordPress.

I am a Copywriter, Creative and Corporate Writer, Marketer and a partner in the Smart Marketing Warriors, an alliance of three internet marketers. Our mission is to cut a clear and economical path for newbie internet marketers, or business owners, who want a quality internet presence at an affordable price.

Before leaving traditional employment I spent 20 years in local government and my academic background led me to a Masters;  my main interest was in the Biological Sciences, so goodness knows why I then qualified as an Environmental Health Officer.

Mark has combined his years of military experience and more recently his  internet marketing skills to develop Leaving The Armed Forces, a unique online club for ex-military personnel to help them feel comfortable in civilian life and make money online.

Both Mark and I are experienced in change management, and I have trained over the previous 4 years to qualify as an NLP Practioner,  NLP Trainer and Performance Coach. After both leaping from over 20 years service in institutionalised employement, we are helping others make the same life changes.  Together we share the running of our company  Stormchasers.

Over the last 6 months we have re-evaluated our lives.  Sian Scribbles is my view about our personal quest to eat real food, enjoy every day and live on purpose and in our dreams.

My last 30 years have been defined by weight, love of food, a blow out with IBS, overcoming ME, and more recently breast cancer.  I’ve never been healthier or happier than I am today.

How strange when the worst thing you can ever imagine happening turns out to be your salvation.

Sian does loads of things, too many to be brilliant at any of them. She co-founded Stormchasers Ltd with her husband Mark, runs a internet marketing training group for small businesses, is a writer, blogger, Master NLP Practitioner and business coach. Sian & Mark contribute jointly to the Ex-armed Forces Club and their blog, Leaving The Armed Forces, the programme to support anyone leaving the armed forces (surprisingly enough). Oh, and they help small businesses with a boring old website sitting around like a lump of toffee stuck down the back of the sofa, to get a dynamic and fluffy blog.
